The sacred month of Muharram, the month of sacrifice, devotion, and selflessness, has arrived. This month commemorates the eternal epic of Ashura and represents the highest manifestation of human, Islamic, and divine values. It is a month intertwined with the pure blood of the martyrs of Karbala and an enduring love for truth and justice, serving as a timeless lesson in freedom, dignity, patience, and perseverance for all people who cherish liberty and righteousness.
With the advent of Muharram, Muslims and followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) mourn with hearts filled with sorrow and eyes filled with tears for the martyrdom of Imam Husayn (PBUH), the Master of Martyrs, and his loyal companions. Once again, they reflect upon the enduring messages of the Ashura movement—messages that continue to inspire the pursuit of truth, justice, and unwavering commitment to divine values.
On this solemn occasion, we extend our deepest condolences on the arrival of the month of Muharram and the days of mourning for the martyrdom of Imam Husayn (PBUH), the valiant standard-bearer of Karbala, Hazrat Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUH), and their faithful companions, to Imam al-Mahdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance) and to Muslims throughout the world.
